The Dewar Arts Awards for Young People
For any person under the age of 30 living, working or studying in Scotland who has an outstanding ability as an artist, performer or writer in any branch of the creative industries.
Scottish Arts Council - Funding for Individuals
National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA)
NESTA uses the interest on a National Lottery endowment to pioneer ways of supporting and promoting talent, innovation and creativity.
The Skillset Scotland Training Fund
Bursary fund for freelancers. Deadline is 31 March 2009.
Awards for Young Musicians
Awards between £200 and £2,000 for young people to help with purchase of instruments, music lessons/courses, travel etc. Deadline end of March 2009.
