HI-Arts

There is a wealth of professional dance and drama companies based in the Highlands and Islands, and a large number of skilled practitioners: actors, dancers, writers, directors, choreographers designers, and stage crew.

This community is represented by the Highlands and Islands Theatre Network which was originally set up by HI~Arts as an informal group, and then developed into an independent company with its own Board and Project Coordinator.

HITN is working in collaboration with HI~Arts, the Promoters Arts Network and North East Arts Touring to deliver a new programme of touring drama and dance performances, North by North East
